With massive bandwidth increases available to almost everyone video is fast becoming the primary method of communication with potential and existing customers. It is dynamic and maintains interest far beyond a static page. It is entertainment.
Video should be considered as part of your communication with customers for acquisition and retention. Consider it for anything you want to say to customers when they purchase a product or service – or if they have a problem. A video can be instructional, after sales service, social, viral, and it doesn’t have to be big and expensive. Getting organic rankings, providing customer service, or attracting new visitors to your site with video can be surprisingly inexpensive.
This is a small project we have done for Huelin Renouf Shipping in Jersey. They wanted something to use to promote their flexibility, personal service and close-knit teams to potential UK to Channel Island freight customers. Something that could be used on the website, facebook and for organic search results as well as for corporate occasions. This was filmed by John Hollingsworth, our independent film producer partner, over a three day period. John travelled the route aboard one of their ships, a pretty interesting experience in itself, following the freight process from one end to the other.
Needless to say, we are very pleased with the results.
